The S&P 500 posted a +2.46% gain for the second quarter of 2016.  U.S. equities experienced a significant two-day decline late in the period as news from the United Kingdom rocked global markets.  The recovery was quick and most indices recouped losses by quarter-end.  Global uncertainty increased demand for U.S. Treasuries and pushed investors towards traditional safe-haven market sectors.  Value stocks outperformed Growth by nearly 5% during the quarter, the widest margin since 2006.
